What are FJA's special programs?

FJA's classrooms extend beyond the campus and into the world. Teaching students to help others and to practice acts of tikkun olam (repairing the world) is central to our school’s vision and mission. All students participate in a variety of community service projects and initiatives designed to promote positive community awareness. These programs imbue our students with a sense of their own power to better their world and the world of others. We offer Shabbatonim (Shabbat overnight programs), field trips in the arts and sciences, and a variety of other educational trips. Chavaya is a three-week culminating experience in Israel in the students' senior year.
