What if my child does not want to participate in minyan?
The Frankel Jewish Academy requires minyan participation and expects its students to learn the basics of participation in Jewish prayer services. Core to our mission is the goal that our graduates will feel comfortable with prayer liturgy and able to participate competently if called to the Torah for an aliyah, or when participating in a life cycle event such as a shivah (bereavement/consolation) minyan.
