Parent Council Keeps FJA Parents Involved
.
Parent Council is the heartbeat of FJA's haymish feel. Whether it’s monthly Oneg Shabbats or Rosh Chodesh breakfasts or snacks for Jewish holidays throughout the year, Parent Council is there. This spirit extends to our wonderful staff, too. Meals during staff week and before conference and curriculum nights. December holiday and end of year gifts of appreciation are all provided by Parent Council.

Fundraising is the key to all that we do.  Your $36 annual Parent Council membership supports many of the programs that FJA students enjoy. FJA’s SCRIP Rewards Program is another easy way to help FJA every time you shop online or go to the grocery store. Kroger, Plum Market, Hiller’s and Busch’s generously donate back to FJA up to 5% of each grocery purchase. Last year we raised over $6000 through the SCRIP Rewards Program. For more information, please  at 248-682-3873.

Parent Council is not just for students and staff.  It's for you, too. We've planned some wonderful events this year -- social events, learning opportunities, a parenting lecture to help you navigate the high school years.  Join us on January 23 for Parent Council’s Tenth Anniversary Concert featuring Cliff Erickson.

You hear it again and again – FJA is not just a school, but a community. Joining Parent Council is a wonderful way to be a part of our school community, make friends, and strengthen your child’s school experience.
