Giving Opportunities

There are many ways to support FJA and sustain our commitment to a tradition of academic excellence and Jewish continuity. The Annual Giving Campaign, special grants, tribute gifts and in-kind donations ensure that we have the necessary resources to deliver academic excellence. Gifts to the Capital and Endowment Campaigns secure the school's long-term financial stability.

When you make a gift to FJA, you have the ability to have a direct impact on the lives of many of our community's youth. Your gift has a lasting impact that reaches from the classroom to the community. FJA Matching Grant Information.

As an incentive to our donors, Jean and Samuel Frankel established a Matching Grant Program. The family as agreed to match, dollar-for-dollar, every gift made to the school. In essence, donors have the ability to double their gift to the school through this unique opportunity.

Annual Giving Campaign

When you make a gift through our Annual Giving Campaign you have an immediate impact on the most pressing needs of the school. The Annual Giving Campaign directly supports all of our programs, from academics, athletics and technology, to the arts, leadership opportunities and an enriching Jewish life curriculum. The dollars raised through annual giving support our dedicated, high-caliber teachers and provides the resources they need to bring outstanding educational programs to our students.

Tuition, fees and other income covers about 80 percent of the cost of educating students at FJA. We hold the tuition as accessible and competitive as possible, with the understanding that philanthropy will meet a portion of the annual needs of the school. In addition, approximately 35% of our students receive scholarship dollars.

Tributes and Memorials

Support FJA through our Tribute Program. Tribute gifts are a great way to acknowledge a birthday, anniversary, new baby, say thank you, send congratulations, or pay tribute to a family member, teacher, classmate or loved one. Your gift will touch the life of someone special, and enrich the lives of our students.

Tribute cards are also available in packs of 7 or 15, for $36 or $72 respectively. Each tribute pack includes cards, envelopes, a reorder form and a form to have your tributes listed in our publications.

Another great option is to "bank" or prepay tribute gifts. You may do so in increments of $50. Simply check the appropriate box on the online giving page.

L'Dor VaDor Grandparent Giving Society Program

At FJA “from generation to generation” is more than a phrase; it is a way of life. During classroom visits, school programs and plays, or simply kvelling over a grandchild’s accomplishments, our grandparents play an important role at FJA. The L’Dor VaDor Grandparent Giving Society was introduced during FJA’s 2009-2010 Grandparents and Special Friends Visiting Day. Annual gifts to the Society support FJA’s academic program and student scholarships. The L’Dor VaDor Giving Society encompasses three levels of giving. $1,800, $2,500, $5,000.

Giving Levels.

Recognition for your annual gift to the Frankel Jewish Academy is based on your cumulative support to the school. As your giving grows, the recognition for your support increases as well. Donors are acknowledged on our Donor Wall as well as in various publications.
