The Admissions Process

The following checklist is provided to ensure that you will complete each important aspect of the admissions process.

A completed application for admission includes the following:
        
[ ]  Applicants must schedule a visit to school to sit in on classes.

[ ]  Background Information
[ ]  Parent Questionnaire
[ ]  Student Statement
[ ]  Official transcripts from middle school (and high school, if applicable) attended
[ ]  Principal or Guidance Counselor Recommendation
[ ]  Current Math Teacher Recommendation
[ ]  Current English Teacher Recommendation
[ ]  Jewish Professional (Rabbi, Cantor, Jewish Studies Teacher, Youth Group Leader, etc.)
[ ]  $75 Application Fee
        -Please make checks payable to the Frankel Jewish Academy.  
        -The Application Fee is non-refundable and not applicable towards tuition.

Interview and Testing
[ ]  Applicants and Parents are required to have a personal interview.
[ ]  Applicants are required to take the High School Placement test.  
Refer to the Admissions Calendar for the next test date.

Deadline For All Materials
[ ]  January 30th
Late applicants should complete the process as soon as possible and will be reviewed on a space available basis.

Deadline For Financial Aid
[ ]  February 15th
If you have indicated on the application that you plan to apply for tuition assistance, you will receive a financial aid application packet in December.  It is essential to get your financial aid application in on time, to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.  Please see the Tuition Assistance link above for more information.
