Multi-Year Flexible Tuition Program (FTP)

Keeping Tuition Affordable in 2017-2018

The Frankel Jewish Academy’s tuition program is designed to ease a family’s year-to-year concern over the affordability of their student’s tuition. Keeping economic stability at the forefront, the Multi-Year Flexible Tuition Program (FTP) allows qualified families to know, from the outset, the cost of tuition throughout their student’s high school experience at FJA.We encourage families to apply to this initiative, even those who assumed they might not have qualified for tuition assistance in the past. The Flexible Tuition Committee operates separately from the Admissions Office. Applying for the FTP in no way affects the student admission process.

How The Multi-Year Flexible Tuition Program (FTP) Works

The Flexible Tuition Committee will conduct a review of each applicant’s FACTS application in order to determine a family’s annual tuition obligation for one to four years. This tuition obligation will remain in effect provided a family’s income and financial situation is within a ±10% range of the previous year’s income.  If financial conditions change and exceed this 10% range at any point during the agreement, the school will modify the annual tuition obligation accordingly.

Multi-Year Flexible Tuition Program (FTP) Highlights

• Replaces the “tuition assistance” program
• Enables families to plan for multiple years of education
• Expands the definition of families able to participate
• Maintains the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity
• Simplifies the annual paperwork
