Tuition Assistance

The Frankel Jewish Academy awards tuition assistance grants based upon the financial need of a family. These grants do not need to be paid back and are used to offset tuition only. The money for these grants comes directly from the school's budget and demonstrates the school's commitment to having a socio-economically diverse student population. We make every effort to ensure that no qualified student is prevented from attending for financial reasons.

Application
Your first step in applying for Tuition Assistance should be a call to the Business Office. Our Business Director can supply you with the necessary information and forms, and answer any questions you may have. It is best to call the Business Office as soon as possible so that your application can be processed and considered in time for the school year to begin.

Families wishing to apply for Tuition Assistance will submit an application, with all relevant data, to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a secure third-party administrator. FACTS will collect, analyze and report the data to us for use in assessing need. Please note that FACTS will not make any award decisions. That responsibility remains with the Tuition Assistance Committee.

Your application will take approximately three weeks to be processed by FACTS. From there, it goes to the Tuition Assistance Committee. The time it takes for the committee to evaluate your request can change, based on time of year and number of applicants. Generally, you can expect an answer within 6 weeks of your sending your final documents to FACTS.

You can submit your application either by paper copy or electronically. Here's how:

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT:
The Tuition Assistance Committee cannot consider your application until FACTS receives the information listed above. Additionally, we cannot consider your award for final status until FACTS receives your 2007 tax return and supporting documents.

Please do not return any of the documentation listed above to the Frankel Jewish Academy. All documents should be delivered to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
