Parent Council Provides The Extras That Make Our School Special
Parent Council is the heartbeat of FJA’s “Hamish” feel. Whether it’s snacks and meals for Jewish Holidays or Rosh Chodesh celebrations throughout the year, Parent Council is there to help make the holidays come alive. This spirit extends to our wonderful staff too. Parent Council provides meals for staff during Staff Week, before conferences and curriculum nights, as well as December holiday appreciation.
As important as fundraising is, we truly can’t do it without you! Please sign up on the Lend A Hand form to volunteer to serve in one of our programs. Your involvement helps make our school better for everyone. For more information, please contact Sari Baskin-Blackman.
Parent Council is not just for students and staff – it’s for parents, too. We plan wonderful events throughout the year open to the entire FJA community: social gatherings, learning opportunities, an informative speaker series to help navigate the high school years, and more. Events are listed on the calendar below.
You hear it again and again; FJA is not just a school, it’s a community. Joining Parent Council is a wonderful way to be part of our school community, make friends, and strengthen your child’s school experience.
