Student Becomes First Runner in FJA History to Compete in State Finals

In November, Merrick Michaelson ’23 competed at the MHSAA State Cross Country Finals. The finals were held at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn Michigan. Merrick finished the 5k course in 18:08 which put him in 49th place out of 244 runners. Merrick is the first runner in FJA history to qualify and race at the state finals.
