Student Places 4th in NCJW Essay Contest

Mazel Tov to senior Benny Shaevsky, who finished 4th in an essay contest hosted by the National Council for Jewish Women (NCJW). Benny wrote about the impact that Morah Kidron has had on him during his four years at FJA. Below is a quote from his essay:

“Morah Kidron and her Learners’ Minyan have had the greatest impact in shaping my Jewish identity. I know that I will carry the prayers, traditions, rituals and, most importantly, the values with me for my lifetime. To honor Morah Kidron and her impact on me, I pledge to continue, throughout my lifetime, to help perpetuate the Jewish people by teaching others and G-d willing, my future family, the prayers, values, rituals and traditions of the Jewish people which she so passionately taught to me.”
