Introducing Dale Rogers – Genesis Lab Manager

“I grew up in Knoxville, TN, where I attended the University of Tennessee. My first teaching job in Georgia was as a junior high school industrial arts teacher. After a year and a half I moved to the high school level to teach drafting and later Computer Aided Design (CAD).

My career in Georgia lasted 10 years before I landed a CAD/Industrial Technology teaching position at Novi High School. While at Novi I completed my master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and later received my National Board Teaching Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards organization.

I spent 24 years at Novi before accepting a two year position as a Training Specialist for an automotive supplier in Howell. Most recently, I was the STEM Education Specialist for the East Lansing Public Library.

I have been married for 33 years and have two grown sons plus a dog named Boone.

I am very excited to be able to reignite my education career as the Genesis STEAM Lab Manager for the Frankel Jewish Academy.”
