Matt Greenberg ’09

Where did you/do you go to college?
University of Michigan

Where are you living now?

What do you do for a living?
I develop and program apps, websites and interactive installations. Currently working at Leviathan, a digital agency here in Chicago. Check us out:

What is an accomplishment that you are most proud of?
Completing my honors history thesis at UofM. It was over 100 pages!

Tell us about something meaningful in your life right now:
A bunch of my good friends are getting married and having kids. It’s all very exciting and strange.

What is something you look forward to in the coming year?
Nothing specific. I’m excited to learn more about music and engineering and create cool things.

What is your favorite Jewish holiday and why?
Passover. My favorite rituals and songs — plus it means the weather is about to get nice.

What are your favorite TV shows?
I don’t watch much TV. Youtube is fantastic, though. Some channels I recommend are: Kurzgesagt, CPG Grey, Thinking Basketball, CrashCourse and PBS Space Time.

What is your favorite food?
Pizza. If you’re ever in Chicago, go to Piece.

If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only bring one item, what would it be and why?
A guitar. What a great excuse to practice.

Who would play you in a movie?
John Mayer. I’m a bit obsessed. I think I have his mannerisms down.
