GIVING TO FJA

IMG_9960

Every day at FJA, students are inspired, empowered and passionately engaged; and it is clear that their FJA education doesn’t end at graduation. FJA is preparing our students to be ready to be leaders in our community, be compassionate people, critical thinkers and to thrive at the best colleges and universities. All families should be able to give their child an excellent Jewish high school experience regardless of financial ability.

Your philanthropic support enables FJA to achieve its mission. Tuition, fees and other revenue cover the majority of FJA's annual operating budget, but not without a gap. We depend on community support to bridge that gap every year to ensure we meet our families’ needs.

To make a pledge, please contact Jackie Yashinsky or Elizabeth Chambers.

ANNUAL GIVING + TUITION = OPERATING BUDGET

100% of every gift to Frankel Jewish Academy supports tuition assistance, academic excellence, technology, athletics, arts, college counseling, student life, Jewish life, global education, faculty development, and extra-curricular programs. Your gift allows us to set ambitious goals and to make our dreams a reality.

Many companies/corporations match gifts made by their employees, thereby doubling the donor’s gift. Please contact your employer to ask if they help employees maximize their philanthropy.

Gifts of appreciated stock offer a two-fold tax advantage: the donor may deduct the full-market value of the securities as a charitable donation, and at the same time, avoid capital gains taxes.

To make a donation of stock, please contact Jackie Yashinsky, Associate Director of the Annual Campaign at [email protected] or 248-592-5263.

You may be surprised to learn that there are creative ways to support Frankel Jewish Academy that can last beyond the donor's lifetime.

BEQUESTS
A charitable bequest can be a simple way to make a gift—large or small—to Frankel Jewish Academy, but its impact will help to secure the future of our school. By means of your Will or other Estate Plan, you can designate Frankel Jewish Academy as the beneficiary of your entire estate, a portion of your estate, or a particular asset in your estate.

To discuss your giving plan, please contact Jackie Yashinsky, Associate Director of the Annual Campaign [email protected] or 248-592-5263.

ENDOWMENT FUNDS
Endowment Funds allow us to provide tuition assistance, as well as support for vital school programs, using a small percentage of the fund’s earnings while protecting, in perpetuity, the fund’s principal.

  • Objective: To build FJA’s endowment into a major source of support for the school and its mission, ensuring our ability to foster talented teachers, students, and dedicated staff.
  • Impact: Endowed funds are used for tuition assistance, distinguished teaching chairs, exploration of emerging academic areas, and essential special projects.

A restricted fund may be established by a gift of $50,000. A non-restricted fund may be established by a gift of $25,000. For more information on how you can give a gift or establish a fund, please contact Jackie Yashinsky, Associate Director of the Annual Campaign [email protected] or 248-592-5263.
